Welcome to the EOS Congress 2004
It is my pleasure to invite you to the 80th Congress of the European Orthodontic Society, which will take place from 7 to 11 June 2004. We hope that this Congress will take you back to your university days by giving you a feeling of being part of a university environment in the beautiful campus of the University of Aarhus. Aarhus is a small city and we cannot compete with the capitals, in which recent meetings have been held. It is, however, a city that is influenced by its many educational institutions resulting in an active cultural life. It is my hope that we will be able to give you a true impression of life in a university city and we have included some of the major attractions in and around Aarhus in our programme.
Just across the street you will find the Dental School, where graduate students will be happy to show you around and provide you with any information you might like to have about orthodontics in Denmark.
It is my hope that during these days you will feel refreshed and renewed; open to new impressions, to meeting new friends and colleagues and that the Congress will set the stage and give inspiration for further development within the orthodontic world.
